This simple recipe transforms your salmon into a taste sensation! The subtle, smoky flavour of cedar wood gives you a juicy, wood fired flavour with every bite!

  1. Soak your Cedar Wood Planks in water for up to 1 hour (3-4 hours is preferable).
  2. Heat your wood fired oven to 200C or higher.
  3. Prepare your Salmon by seasoning with salt and pepper and layering with slices of lemon.
  4. Place your pre-soaked planks into your wood fired oven and let them heat up for approximately 3 minutes until you see a light smoke.
  5. Using tongs, flip the planks and set them away from your fire before adding your Salmon.
  6. Roast for approximately 20 – 30 minutes ensuring you rotate the planks to cook all sides.
  7. Ensure the Salmon is cooked using our Digital Meat Thermometer, 45-50C is perfect.

TIP:  Try adding wine or apple juice to the Cedar Wood Plank water for more flavour.
